White Before Labor Day

 {Top: Daisy Rae (sold out); Jeans: similar; Necklace: Bubble Necklace Co.; Wedges: Guess; Bag: Jessica Simpson similar}

I had to wear my white pants one more time before Labor Day. I'm pretty sure the rule "no white after Labor Day" doesn't apply anymore but I still feel like I'm breaking a fashion law if I wear white pants or white shoes after Labor Day (I'm ok with white tops and dresses after Labor Day). But, I have seen some cute white pant outfits for fall so I might just get rebellious and wear my pants for the fall season. Who knows...we will just have to wait and see!

Enter to win the necklace I'm wearing!

SwimSpot

{Top: similar; Skirt: c/o SwimSpot; Necklace: similar; Wedges: Guess; Bag: Nine West similar color}

Don't you just love it when you find an item that can be worn several different ways? I'm going to assume you all said yes and if you so no then you are wrong.

SwimSpot recently sent me this swimsuit cover up/dress/ maxi skirt. It can be worn so many ways and that is what I love about it. Not to mention the quality is great. I will be visiting my parents this weekend and will definitely be wearing this as a bathing suit cover up while I lounge by the pool (aren't you jealous?).

I had never heard of SwimSpot before but after visiting their website, I can tell you it is a site to check out! They have a ton of designer swimwear along with a fit specialist to help you find your perfect swimsuit. And they have a ton of coverups that are so versatile. So what are you waiting for? Go check out SwimSpot! And if you're going to buy a bathing suit for a tropical vacation you have planned, feel free to take me on your vacation. I promise I'm an awesome travel buddy :)

Wine Tasting Watching

{Top w/sleeves: Daisy Rae; Shorts: similar, Bag: The Sak; Wedges: Guess; Jewelry: Premier Designs}

Have you all ever been wine tasting? Yes, No? How 'bout wine tasting watching? I bet most of you have never done that. That is what I did last weekend (the watching part not the tasting part) to celebrate for my cousins bachelorette party. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for not liking alcohol but I've always been just a water type of gal. Even when I was a kid, I didn't care for flavored drinks like juice or soda. I just wanted water.

I have to admit that I did try of few sips of wine. Before they serve the wine, the describe what it taste like and that got me curious. I just had to know if you could really taste the orange flavor or the dryness or any of the other weird ways they described the wine. The answer was always, no I could not taste the flavors. It all just tasted like wine to me. I still had a great time. The company was great and the views were pretty. What more can a girl ask for?

P.S. You can see how I wore this top casually here

Strapless

 {Romper: similar; Shoes: Just Fab; Necklace: Forever21}

For some reason, when I wear something strapless, I always feel the need to put a cardigan or jacket over it. I don't like that if my picture was taken from the chest/neck up, it would look like I'm not wearing any clothes. I know, I'm weird. What makes me really weird is that my wedding dress was strapless and I loved it.  I also love strapless gowns, like what they wear on the red carpet. So apparently I have a double standard when it comes to wearing strapless. If it's for a wedding or something fancy, I'm ok with it. But if it's just everyday wear, I just can't bring myself to go strapless.

Copycat

 {Shorts: similar; Bag: similar; Shoes: similar; Belt: similar}

This is one of those days where you just don't feel like coming up with an outfit and getting dressed. But since running around naked is frowned upon in most societies, I had to find something to wear. It's times like these that I turn to pinterest and bloggers for inspiration. I pretty much copied my look from For All That Jas. So lets all thank Jas for helping to get me clothed this morning. Thanks you Jas! :)

Tailor Made

 {Top: Daisy Rae; Pants: similar; Bag: similar; Shoes: similar; Jewelry: Premier Designs}

You all are going to be so jealous of the new footwear I will be getting! It's going to be custom made just for my feet. Pretty cool, uh? You can take a gander at what it will look like here. Don't lie, you know you wish you could be as cool as me. Most people have to suffer an injury before than can get this custom made footwear but not me...I was just born awesome! And by awesome I mean with posterior tibial tendonitis, along with some other foot problems. See, told you you would be jealous.

"Rae" of Sunshine

{Top: Daisy Rae; Skirt: Daisy Rae; Belt: similar; Shoes: Target; Bag: similar}

My middle name is Rae so my sister would always tell me I was her "little 'rae' of sunshine". (Awww! Isn't she the sweetest!) And every time I wear this skirt I feel like a "rae" of sunshine. I'm just walking around literally brightening peoples day in this skirt. Not that anyone needs more sunshine around here. It's been above 100 the past week so we have been getting plenty of sun without my skirt.

Guess What...

{Dress: similar similar: Vest: similar; Wedges: Guess; Bag: similar similar}

Guess what y'all... I got a new camera!!! I'm still working on figuring it out but so far I love it. My goal is to master the art of a blurry background. Luckily my cousin is a professional photographer and offered to teach me how to use it. Pretty soon I will be a pro...or I should say the hubby will be a pro since he's the one who has to take my pictures.

Having a new camera makes me feel all fancy and sophisticated. I can now take pictures with people around. Well, almost. I no longer run and hide when a car drives by so I'm making progress.

P.S. Daisy Rae is having a site wide 30% OFF SALE! Use code: summersale at checkout :)

Lopsided Confession

 {Jeans: similar; Necklace: similar; Shoes: similar; Bag: The Sak}

I feel like I need to confess something. I've been trying to hide it and keep is a secret from you for a while now but here goes...my hair is lopsided. The right side is about an inch longer that the left. I have been trying to tilt my head a little so that you can't tell. I even cut the longer side myself about a month and a half ago to even it out but it just grew longer again. Apparently, my left side just can't keep up with the right. Don't worry, I finally got around to making an appointment with my hairdresser (but since I live 2.5 hours away from her I have to wait until the 25th). And trust me, it gets pretty tiring walking around with your head tilted to one side.

P.S. Again, just ignore the wrinkles ;)
